I'm Kelvin. I'm 26 and from Canada. and Hong Kong, and now I'm in London, so I'm a bit of everywhere. I've been here in London for 3 years, studying and working. I like cooking, food, bikes, the environment, working with young people, and generally strive to make everyone smile a little bit more! Because I like all those things, I started FoodWorks... see below! I am the director of a charity called FoodWorks, which puts together young volunteers, reclaimed food, and a free kitchen space to create nutritious meals for people in the community affected by food poverty. we offer food in the form of a vegetarian 3 course meal, cooked fresh every sunday. We work in the area of south kensington and holborn right now, but soon will expand to all across London! We also offer volunteering opportunities for young people, and also a place for food retailers to donate their surplus food where it will end it being made into a yummy meal instead of in the bin! We are looking for partners. If you have surplus food, want to cook, or know of a free commerical kitchen space that can be used, let us know!
